Wallabi Point & Saltwater

Wallabi Point is a picturesque seaside village overlooking the Pacific Ocean, renowned for its surfing beach. At the south end of Wallabi Point is the magnificent Saltwater Nature Reserve.

Old Bar

Just 6 minutes drive from Wishlist is Old Bar. This coastal town is surrounded by national parks and has a laid-back surfer vibe. Cafes, shops and a supermarket make Old Bar a very convenient destination. Old Bar beach is patrolled on weekends through the warmer months and seven days a week through the Christmas school holidays.

Harrington & Crowdy Head

30 minutes North, you will find Harrington. Sitting at the mouth of the Manning River, Harrington has a strong maritime history. Stroll on the scenic breakwall or watch for whales at the Crowdy Head lighthouse.

Taree

On the banks of the Manning River, you will find the heart of the Manning Valley; Taree. A great regional service hub, you will find shops, cinemas, markets, galleries, restaurants and cafes. 20 minutes drive from Wishlist.

Forster & Tuncurry

Forster and Tuncurry are just a 35 minute drive South of Wishlist. Located on the edge of Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean, Forster is a spectacular place for a day trip. Enjoy shopping, cafes, restaurants, swimming and lazy days on the beach.

Port Macquarie

Just over an hour North of Wishlist you will find the beautiful coastal town of Port Macquarie. The largest town in our region, Port Macquarie is well known for its Koala Hospital and Billabong zoo. An easy drive up the highway, perfect for a day trip.
